Visually emphasizing that there is no clear line of demarcation between the explained and the unexplained, each of the Divergent Realms playing card decks, named after archetypal characters and masterminds who pioneered the historic studies in various fields, will showcase popular topics ranging from dangerous advances in technology, ancient aliens, psychic phenomena, parallel worlds, quantum and supernatural mysticism.

The third of the series, Divergent Realms Playing Cards' Gaddis Deck will feature hand-crafted detailed artwork, metallic inks and foil embossed tuck-boxes.

The Gaddis Deck (Bermuda Triangle) - named after Vincent Hayes Gaddis, an American author who invented the phrase "Bermuda Triangle", which he used first in the cover article for the 1964 February issue of the magazine Argosy. He popularized many stories about anomalous and paranormal phenomena.

Just to let you all know we are all set and ready to go. Gambler's Warehouse have confirmed fulfillment will begin after the weekend so next week you should all be getting an automated email with the tracking numbers for your rewards from BackerKit, so keep an eye on your inboxes.

Hello everyone!

Just a quick update as I wanted to show you all a sneak peek of the tuck boxes on the Faraday decks. As you can see the have come out very nice and are looking good. 

Manufacture update and progress:

December 2021 - January 2022

• Playing Card manufacture already completed and delivered to Gambler's Warehouse (as outlined above) [COMPLETE] ✔️
• BackerKit surveys sent out to all backers. [COMPLETE] ✔️
• Manufacture begins for the Faraday planchette / coin and Divergent Realms metal cards (CoinsForAnything).  [COMPLETE] ✔️

January 2022 - February 2022

• BackerKit surveys/addresses locked. [COMPLETE] ✔️
• Gilding process begins.  [COMPLETE] ✔️

February 2022 - March 2022

• Faraday planchette / coin and Divergent Realms metal cards delivered to Gambler's Warehouse.  [COMPLETE] ✔️
• Fulfillment begins. [DELAYED] 😭😭😭

So what's the hold up?

Well. firstly apologies for being a bit quiet but we did have a last minute hitch which we have just been trying to rectify over the last week so I thought it best to work to address this problem before posting an update so I have the full scenario and know where things stand in full.

Right, a small error on the card press had occurred and we only noticed this about a week ago to which I was notified and upon inspection we have seen an error on the print of a few of the card designs from the original approved artwork files. After going through the previous email correspondence with USPCC we have found this error to have been caused by a miscommunication on our part with the manufacturer and we approved the incorrect design so with this printing error present the cards are not up to specification and therefore we are working to rectify this as fast as possible with a fresh repress of the effected cards which can then be batch gilded/replaced in the original decks.

At present we have covered the minor cost for this repress and we are currently waiting for the print date to come from USPCC who have said they will do their best to fast track this so we can resolve this issue as quickly as possible and from there fulfilment can commence. Once I have the date which should be some point this week then from there I will be able to give a specific period for fulfillment but as it stands we should be looking at the April period rather then this month as originally planned.  I'll keep you all updated as I get the print date confirmation and through the process as I get the information sent to me.

Hello everyone!

Just a quick update as I wanted to show you all a sneak peek of the gilding on the Faraday decks. As you can see the have come out very nice and are looking good. The images here are from a test gilding for this deck applied a spare pair of the previous decks.

The Faraday coins are currently being manufactured by CoinsForAnything and are still scheduled for delivery to Gambler's Warehouse for late-Feb / early-March and once in then we can begin the fulfilment.

Hello everyone!

Firstly I hope everyone had a good festive period and new year. Secondly, just a very small update for you all to show where everything is regarding this project. Obviously things are pretty quiet on my side and by that I mean in a good way as things have been moving as scheduled and on time with no issues up to this point so this is just a very small update to say that everything is running smoothly for fulfilment in March.

Pretty much everyone has now competed the BackerKit surveys except a very small number. As mentioned before over the next few days they will be set to auto lock and you should receive an email notification from Backerkit as you read this. If you haven't filled out your BackerKit survey yet this can still be done at any stage but once locked should you need to change any details such as your shipping addresses please drop me an email and I can either unlock your survey or update any details you want to change from my side.

Future campaigns?

With the above methods implemented and completion times bought back to what we are all accustomed to with playing card campaigns this will allow me to return to hosting at least three campaigns per year so over the coming 2022 period we should be able to breeze through the next three decks in the series and the final taking place in early 2023. Although I haven't set a date/period yet the third campaign on paper for the third deck in the series, the Gaddis deck is scheduled for April 2022.
